Gandhi said to forget how to dig the earth and to tend the soil is to forget ourselves.
While we didn’t do much digging at the Transition Chelmsford allotment last Sunday, we did keep our wits about us and impressively we built a shed in less than two hours!
We think our Lovely ‘Lottie Shed already looks pretty good - especially considering its panels made an arduous journey from Clare’s mum’s garden - but when it has some felt put on the roof, it will be just perfect.
Afterwards we spent a beautiful afternoon in Stuart’s garden enjoying delicious food, relaxing with cider and celebrating Stuart’s birthday.
If you’d like to help out at the allotment, we’d love to hear from you. You can contact us by sending an email to [email protected]
