Hi all! I am a member of Transition Chelmsford and I value what it does highly. But I am also a Greenpeace volunteer - and I am hoping to start a local group. Any one interested? I only ask you to commit to time that you are happy with. I can arange training if you wish at our head office in London, or we can press on without it. I'm always ready help and listen to you. That's what we are here for.

We are a new CIC based in Great Dunmow, Essex called Get Diggin' It - we grow veg in other people's gardens. We want to mobilise people to get outside and grow food, wherever there is spare land, to build community, and reduce our dependency on the food delivery system. We are planning to sell veg commercially, offer education in business/growing, help people with all kinds of physical and soulful challenges by working outside in nature, and to exemplify the recycling culture by building our gardens from other people's waste and growing food as organically as possible (can't do much about airborne contaminants).
